Using PaperClear
Upload only documents you are authorized to process. Do not use the service to abuse other people, bypass usage protections or run automated bulk processing. AI explanations are informational and may be incomplete or incorrect. Always check the original document and seek qualified advice for consequential decisions.
Free plan
Five documents and twenty questions per UTC calendar month. Re-explanations share the question allowance. Allowances reset at the beginning of the next UTC calendar month. Free users may see ads where consent and availability permit.
Premium: unlimited with fair use
Premium removes ads and offers expanded document and question use subject to fair-use controls: up to 180 documents per UTC calendar month, 600 questions per UTC calendar month and 15 documents per UTC day. Requests beyond these limits are temporarily blocked until the relevant reset. These are hard limits, not additional paid credits. Each file is limited to six pages and 15 MB. Premium also enables longer retention choices while subscribed.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
The App Store purchase screen displays the applicable localized price and billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account. Restore purchases in PaperClear Settings. Cancelling renewal normally preserves access through the paid period. Refund requests are handled by Apple. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription.
Retention and deletion
Default retention is 30 days. Premium allows 365 days or indefinite storage while subscribed; upgrading does not silently change an existing retention choice. After Premium expires, extended storage is capped at 30 days after expiry, preserving any earlier deletion date. Keep an independent copy of important documents. Apple license
The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s standard end-user license agreement. These service and fair-use terms describe PaperClear’s service behavior and do not replace the applicable Apple license or mandatory consumer rights.
